Children's Coaching
Academic and social support for children aged 7–18 who need a different kind of help to thrive
School is not just about academic content. We know this because many parents have lived through this traditional system that wasn’t designed with every learner in mind.
A lot of what was covered doesn’t show up in everyday living. What we can strive for is the lessons surrounding focus, organisation, managing time, navigating friendships, handling pressure and showing up.
This is not therapy. This is support.
Some children are struggling ; academically, socially, are neurodivergent, or simply dealing with challenges that are making it hard to perform the expected “norm”……….
The missing piece is not intelligence. It is structure, strategy and a trusted adult who can help them
addresses academic expectations and social development combined together.
Sessions are practical and child-centred: where I work on study skills, task management, concentration strategies and the social competencies that influence how your child experiences school, friendships and their own sense of capability. Progress is visible, measurable and built to last beyond the sessions themselves. This is not subject tuitions.
Whether your child is gifted but unmotivated, anxious about academic performance, struggling with peer relationships, or navigating a learning difference that makes the standard approach ineffective, this programme meets them where they are and builds from there.
Parents receive regular feedback and practical guidance so that the work done in coaching is reinforced at home.
Your child does not need to be fixed. They need to be seen, understood and given the tools to show the world what they are actually capable of.

We wouldn't think twice about hiring a swimming coach when our child is learning to swim or a music teacher when they're learning an instrument. Getting your child the right support for the rest of their life deserves the same instinct.
As a parent, we find the right person to support the challenge of our child and don't question if that means something is wrong with our child.
Children's coaching is no different.
It is skilled, structured support for a child who is navigating something that is bigger than what home and school alone can address right now.
It is not a sign that your child is broken. It is not a diagnosis. It is not something that needs to go on a form or be explained to anyone. It is simply the decision to give your child access to someone who can help them build what they need
Your child does not need to be in crisis to deserve support. If something is getting in their way reach out, and let's talk about what that support could look like.
Not sure if coaching is the right fit for your child? That's exactly what the first call is for. No commitment. No pressure. Just an honest conversation about what your child needs and whether we're the right people to help.
Most parents who reach out for children's coaching tell us the same thing: they almost didn't. They weren't sure it was serious enough. They didn't want to make a fuss and wondered if they were overreacting.

Dr Juggernath's work with children extends beyond private coaching. As a partner of Childline KwaZulu-Natal, a registered NPO operating the national 116 helpline for children in crisis — she provides professional training and facilitation for Childline KZN's field counsellors and helpline staff. This means the frameworks and tools she brings to her private coaching practice are the same ones being used to support South Africa's most vulnerable children at their most critical moments. When you work with Dr Juggernath, you are working with a coach whose expertise is trusted not only by private clients but by the frontline professionals who need it most.
